"These threads that I stitch connect elements of my life, bridging past to present, the nature I see to the constructed city I grew up around. My threads lead and direct me towards ideas of harmony and conflict, elements that combine and contrast are laid out for the viewers through my work, crafting intimate publications that reflect my attachment to the city, while immersing the viewer in the delicately collaged pages."

Tif Harvey

They/Them

Born in South London, Tif Harvey is a London-based artist specialising in artist book-making, curation and print. For many years Tif has explored mixed media collage, using recycled found materials and thread to construct delicate works of art that challenge our understanding of interact-able collages and publications.

Their work focuses on texture and touch, using the physical medium of artist books and printed publications to express emotion with each intricate handcrafted detail. By combining their collage, print and book making skills Tif continues to push the boundaries of artist books and publications into an uniquely interactable art form that they use to express their life experiences and share personal stories.

With a deeply personal connection to nature Tif uses their collages and artist books to examine how natural elements interplay with emotions and memories.

Possessing a wide range of artistic skills from intricate hand stitching to methodic stone carving, Tif crafts each work with a careful passion, ensuring each element, from the visual layout to structural binding, is perfected to ensure the desired response from the viewer.

Having recently graduated with a 2:1 in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, London, they are now looking to expand their portfolio through collaborative projects and commissions, hoping to breathe life into new publications and artworks.
